Can't Take the Nestea Plunge in a Kiddy Pool Relationship
I know a lot of people in my life whom I absolutely love! Some are people who are a bit more than acquaintances. Our schedules and geography prohibit spending more time together but every time I get to see them, time is sweet. There are those closer still who I see more frequently. Oh yeah...the fellowship is SWEET. Loved ones aren't always defined as who gets more "airtime". Trust plays a great factor and we keep that in the human perspective, don't we Christians? In God, we can trust 100% and then there are humans!! 'Nuff said. The rest are close loved ones (some related, some not) who I can trust implicitly.
I know a lot of people in my life who have had abortions. Some have committed other sins too but this is a pro-life website so that's the focus here. Some of these loved ones have taken their pasts with abortion to the Cross. They have repented, they have asked for forgiveness and while they will experience the sadness of their consequences, they know they are forgiven. They on a life-long path to healing in Him.
Then there are those who are running away. They are running while shaking their fists at God. They fear anyone who is a Christian and holds a pro-life position. They are fearful of rejection, facing their own sins and fearful of losing out on a life of "perceived" fun. It leads to the shallowest of relationships. You can talk about the weather, the latest movie, people and very surfacey things like travels as long as they don't involve anything that is "Christian" or "pro-life" (so any trips to Washington D.C. for a March for Life would obviously not be allowed to enter discussion).
Abortion tears up relationships. First, it destroys the relationship between God and those involved. The exception I delineate is that if a girl is raped and is then forced to abort, it's clear that she is not rebelling against God. She is a true victim. That being said, abortion tears up relationships. When a female aborts, someone is lacking relationship with God. Either she or her boyfriend don't believe in God in the first place or they don't have the relationship to know that God is all-powerful or the provider of all needs. They don't know Him well enough to ask what He wants in this situation. They got to the pregnant state because again, they didn't believe in God or they didn't know Him personally to follow His instruction on no premarital sex.
Abortion tears up relationships. Sometimes we see abortions taking place because it's the desire of the parents of the pregnant woman and her boyfriend. They coerce, pressure, manipulate and suggest that abortion is the only desired outcome. These family members have no relationship with God either. They don't believe that He is all-powerful or a provider of all needs. While pregnancy is temporary in itself, the consequences of this event is lifelong now. Whether it's abortion, or adoption or parenting, everyone's lives are changed forever. Abortion shuts down communication, disenfranchises and destroys spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically.
So along comes the Christian. Don't you know that that person is a total monster? Who are they to suggest that the baby is real, the baby is not a choice, the baby is not a clump of cells and that baby deserves a right to live? How dare they judge me or us? They are SO judgmental! They are SO holier-than-thou. They think they are better and they are so hypocritical! They don't understand anything. They hate! They are monsters with a capital "M". Get away from them. Barely acknowledge them. Hate them deep down. RUN. If you are related to them, be as polite as society wants you to be but keep them at an arm's length. So much the better if they live in another state and you can hide them on Facebook.
Abortion tears up relationships. Whether it's in the discussion of abortion at the time of the event or in the aftermath however many years down the line, it causes deep damage. Surrounding an abortion is shame, fear, anxiety, rage, suspicion and grief to name a few detrimental effects. These are not of the Lord. These effects do not foster good relationships. It is a huge waste of time and energy. Instead, there should be love, honesty, understanding, courage (even in the face of fears) and trust. There is no healing and growing without Jesus.
There was a time that I was a total mess. To some, I didn't look like a mess at all, but I was deep down. Then came Jesus. While I was sinning and cynical, He took on my sin and shame. He liberated me. As I was sinning and cynical, He said, "Someday, in My ways and in My timing, Kimmy, you will find Me." He was right! He rescued me from everything and the shame of it all. He loved me so much to pay that penalty for me. He said on the cross, "It is finished". He is going to present me blameless to my Father in Heaven. Wow. I can live my days in perfect peace and with joy. No fear as my chains are gone. I am healed. My closest relationships are those who have done the same. They are His and they know Him.
These are the relationships where there is trust, love, understanding, communication, honesty and comfort. I am thankful to God for these in my life. I still thank God for the others in my life but I have to pray even more for them. There is no communication, no real relationship, no real trust or transparency. There is fear and kid glove treatment. We find in 1 John 4:17-19
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.
At times I do fear. The fear of rejection can take place both ways. And really, I have been rejected in a passive-aggressive way. It's sad but until people come to a real relationship of Christ, there's nothing I can do about wanting them to love more, understand more, fear less and communicate better. As Ken Ham recently said in one of his talks, "They are the walking dead and nothing but the Holy Spirit can wake them." They are on a path of destruction. Do I fear? Yes, sometimes I have allowed Satan to take me there. I don't stay there long because then it becomes apparent that Satan is working and it takes me down a place I don't want to go. God delivers me. I just have to ask Him. He's ALWAYS there! :D
This is what I want for all my loved ones who don't know Him...whether they are acquaintances or whether they they are closer than that. I want perfect love for them. I want them to stop fearing. I want them to be able to shed anxiety, suspicion and grief. Yes, it's what I want. I pray for them to know Jesus personally and stop believing all the falsehoods of the world. I want truth to replace the lies and of course, I want strong relationships. I can want all day long but it's what I pray. Sometimes I wonder if these loved ones will ultimately reject Him outright at the very end or whether a car crash or illness will take them before they accept Him. With these thoughts, I just have to trust fervently (and pray fervently) that Jesus knows when, where and how this will take place. I really love these loved ones. There's nothing they can do to make me love them less but I have to remember that Jesus loves them more than I do.
So yes, abortion tears up relationships but really, it's sin that tears up relationships. That's the root. Abortion is just the symptom of the root problem. Is the Christian the monster? Do they really hate? Are they truly holier-than-thou? Don't they have a past? Do they really not understand the real issue? Are they really so hateful? Who's making the judgments? Could it be that they are sinners like you but the only difference is that they are forgiven and set free? How would a person know if they really were monsters if there's no real communication or you are pushing away? Fear not. Trust in Jesus and the truth will set you free.

LeRoy Carhart's license needs to be revoked permanently and the facility needs to be shut down permanently.

Stop the Killing
He has zero regard for human life (except his own hide).
He has zero regard for animals (The Humane Society removed animals from his farm due to his total neglect of them)
He dumps the babies he aborts in the trash.
Very sensitive information about the women he performed abortions on was found in the trash instead of being properly shredded and disposed.
Has had no regulation, oversight or accountability for his million+ dollar business of abortion. The state of Maryland has given him free reign (just like the state of Pennsylvania gave free reign for millionaire Kermit Gosnell to commit heinous acts in filth and squalor).
I KNOW the people who will sign this petition. They have kind hearts, want accountability and do not want Jennifer Morbelli and Christin Gilbert's (and their babies') deaths to not be in vain. They care about the community at large and see what a menace this abortionist is. I KNOW those who love the "least of these" will sign.

You say you love your "privacy". How do you love the idea of sensitive information being made public via trash dump (where we know dumpsters are gone through by those who just want stuff or those who seek identity theft)?
You say you love your earth. How do you love the idea of this abortionist dumping illegally? He dumped little human beings, placental tissue and dangerous medical items to be found by anyone.
You say you love places to have regulations. You want your vet's office, nail salons and restaurants to abide by the local sanitary and safety laws. You want them to comply to keep you safe and to enjoy the cleanliness of their establishments. How do you love that these abortions centers are not clean, not accountable and not at all safe for any person (no matter what size they are)?
You say you love animals. You cry at all the animal abuse commercials. How do you feel that this abortionist had no regard for the animals and dogs on his farm that they actually had to be removed? Carhart's business number for his horse show wares is the same as his business number for killing babies (and women). How do you feel about animals being neglected?
Even if you are NOT pro-life, you should sign this petition to stop Carhart from dumping humans and medical waste, for the total disregard and neglect of animals, and releasing personal information on women who come to his center.

The Death of Outrage
There was a book several years ago with the title The Death of Outrage. It summed up what I thought was the main problem of my generation. However, I think every generation thinks they have had the worst of all generations. I think this title really encapsulates the whole abortion battle. The death of outrage.
I often ask....what's it going to take to wake people up? My own family member (not husband and children fortunately) who is a diehard pro-abortion proponent told me that things are "iffy" and it "depends on what you believe". Is rape "iffy"? Is pedophilia "iffy"? Is bank robbery "iffy"? No, only the murders of unborn babies are "iffy". The sad thing is that people who are for abortion register no shock, no compassion and no moral outrage when they hear that women die from abortions. NONE. Yet they claim that women need good care. There is zero outrage when they get the worst of care ever.
I am not new to the moral contortions of the pro-abort. You are NOT allowed to text and drive as that is a moral sin. Why? You could kill or injure a person. The lesson I learned from the pro-abort is that you need to YELL at that person who is texting and driving because they aren't paying attention to the road and could injure or kill someone (including themselves). However, do NOT yell at the abortionist as he is showing up at the abortion mill to kill babies. You can call a texter/driver a "jerk" but you can't say that to an abortionist. Capiche? And we don't text while we drive because we could cause the LOSS OF LIFE of ourselves and others. However, abortion which could cause the lives of women and others....that's perfectly okay. You falla?
My "favorite": Can't have abortion illegal because women die from back-alley abortions. Outrage! No outrage when women die in "front-alley" abortions. So the door moved from the back to the front....women are still dying but NOW there is zero outrage and the abortionist now escapes pretty much scot-free. No outrage for criminals escaping prison.
I am aghast, once again, at the news of another woman who has been killed by abortion. Am I surprised that abortion kills women? No. Am I surprised that abortionists are calloused and greedy? No. Am I surprised that abortion mills are filthy, unregulated and dangerous? No. Am I even aghast that these abortionists get away with murder of infants and their mothers? No. Yet, I am aghast that yet another woman and her baby has died.
This same family member is under the impression that these late-term abortions are "rare". Define "rare". Is it once in 40 years? Once every ten years? Once a year? Define late-term. Since Doe vs. Bolton allows for abortion for any reason all the way up to the time of delivery....what really is "too late" in the pregnancy? For the pro-aborts I know....all 9 months are acceptable. For some abortion proponents, even if the baby is breathing on his or her own, it is preferable to set that baby aside to die (like Obama voted for as senator).
Viability is often a term used to justify an abortion but here's the deal.....newborns are dependent on their mothers for life just as much as the 10th, 13th, 21st week of the unborn baby's. Newborns are not killed because they are not "viable". Viability is a politician's word.
Abortionist Shelley Sella (in New Mexico) caused a woman's uterus to rupture at 35 weeks-THIRTY-FIVE weeks. The woman who Carhart killed Christin Gilbert in 2006 and she was at 28 weeks. We know babies to survive as early as 21 weeks which granted has been rare, but still very possible to save these babies!

I read an article that pro-life groups want him out of Maryland. The idea is to send him elsewhere? Why? To kill women in OTHER states? No, this guy needs prison. Drop him,,Gosnell, Sella and Stephen Chase Brigham, et.al. into Alcatraz which clearly needs to be reopened.

Roe vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolton are not going to be overturned. Yes, with God it IS possible but what we are seeing over the past 40 years is a change of heart and education. Think about the 24 abortion mills/pill shops shut down in 2012 alone. Think about the 650,000 people who attended the March for Life in Washington, D.C. last month. There is a real change happening. In 1991, there were over 2,000 abortion mills open. Now in 2013 there are around 653 abortion mills open with 185 pill mills operating. The 804 abortionists are getting sloppier and older and many are retiring and dying. The turnover for abortion workers are quick and many of them are seeking help from And Then There Were None ministry.
Sidewalk counsel if you can, but if that is not possible, pray for those who do!! The abortion cartel is desperate and they are acting on desperation. Things are getting uglier out there in their desperate attempts to keep the lie going and to keep abortion in operation. It's cutting into their profits and it's making their jobs harder. By all means, do YOUR part to make it harder. We are not rocks or islands (don't be Paul Simon's song "I Am a Rock"!) to be isolated and not care for our brothers and sisters who are stumbling to the slaughter. The abortion cartel can't do abortions if their parking lots are EMPTY. In this world, it really seems that the bad guys are getting away with everything. Why aren't all the abortionists in prison? Why are regular citizens' freedoms being stripped? Will justice ever be served? God will NOT be mocked for one thing and Psalms 37:1 says to not fret because of evildoers. As always, the Word brings the wisdom and comfort to me! Also check out Proverbs 24:1-22.

I don't have just one family member who is diehard pro-abortion. I have several and they are products of ill-education and of generations of lies passed down through the ages. Satan's lies are always the same. They have bought the lie and they believe the manufactured slogans. They need healing and I pray for a breakthrough for that healing to take place. They need to KNOW Jesus desperately. Many of you probably have the same situations going as well. Please continue praying for these lost and deceived ones.
I often meet young people who either self-identify as "pro-choice" or admit they are on the fence about the subject. There was even one girl who said, "I really don't know what I think about abortion" which is the most honest answer ever. She didn't pretend to have the answers but she wasn't going to decide based on lack of information. These are the best meetings because one can see they are open to truth and they want to learn more. So, I tell them about Planned Parenthood's origins of racism and eugenics. I tell them about Planned Parenthood's protection of sexual predators and their lies about prenatal development. I share brochures that I have purchased and share vital websites (like the ones at the bottom of this blog). I tell them about the women Planned Parenthood and other abortion mills have killed and about babies who have survived abortions (only to be set aside to die).
Shock registers in their eyes. Their faces become distorted with utter disbelief. They ask "How can that be?" or "Why don't we hear about this?" Then I explain that our national media and press is pro-abortion and don't want abortion to stop. "Have you heard any of this in your latest news shows or your magazines?" No. You won't hear of it so now YOU need to go on the hunt for your own answers. Then I give them pro-life websites to check out what is REALLY going on in their country. They are rattled. They often say, "I just had no idea and now I want to know more". We CAN influence and hearts and minds can change. I no longer think of Roe vs. Wade as changed (which wouldn't make abortion illegal 100% anyway).
My pro-abort family members' hearts are hardened and their ears and minds stopped up with granite. Those who need healing the most are often like this. I pray for them as I love them dearly and want to see them free of their self-made prisons. It's hard to imagine what they would look like knowing and serving the Lord instead of their little gods but God has the vision of that and He has the timing and the ways. I will wait upon the Lord. In the meantime though, it makes for some very shallow relationships. You can only talk about the weather for so long.

Champions for Life
Hello Sports Fans for Life! Wait....is that we are sports fans forever or is that we are fans of saving babies but like sports also? YES).
Okay, I admit that I am not much of an athlete nor a huge follower of sports (certainly not an athletic.....encourager). I can't even boast being a good armchair athlete. In fact, this particular Superbowl Sunday found me at my local crisis pregnancy center assisting in peer counselor training. Reports of the game were announced and those of you who know me know who I sort of leaned towards for the hopeful winner. Not gonna' start that here....wouldn't be prudent. Not gonna' do it. Although, maybe I should put this in a poll question?
It's kind of late to be posting this in relation to Superbowl Sunday but 1) it has been SUPER busy this past week (plus I am begging for some sympathy fighting a cold that just came upon me in the past 24 hours) and 2) I couldn't find this particular clip that I had in mind to post on Sunday. The first 50 attempts did not bode well. The 51st entry DID strike paydirt.
By now, we are all acquainted with Tim Tebow's story and the commercial that was aired a while back during the Superbowl. This clip posted at the top of this blog came to me through another pro-life warrior just about that time.
To me, a real man isn't the one who exhibits power, sports a string of letters behind his name in the academic world nor has gained the bank account as big as Warren Buffett's. First of all, a real man is sold out for Jesus of the Holy Bible unabashedly and unashamedly.....and because of that, he recognizes that the "least of these" are to be protected and cherished. A man can don some pads, cleats and a helmet but the real mark is a man who will defend any person who is in need of protection and aid. I won't go any further than that but that's a real man to me. By the way, my husband is number 1 in that (and there was a time he also played football too but I didn't know him then).
This third "Imagine Spot" I have a bone to pick with since it says at 5 weeks the heart will beat. Yes, while it does beat at 5 weeks, it's important to stress that it started beating at around 3 weeks. I do like accuracy. The first one was rejected by the television stations for the Superbowl.
Okay, sports fans, it's late and I am praying for His healing, a good night's sleep and some very effective cold medications. There are baby booties to crochet tomorrow and clients that will need ministering....this cold is NOT good timing (and really..it's my fault as I have been staying up way too late and not eating right).
Anyone know of any pro-life football players on these two Superbowl teams from 2013? Yes, I know of ONE (maybe 2), but if you know of any others, I would love to hear about them.

MISSISSIPPI ABORTION-FREE--CONFETTI TIME
PRAISE JESUS!!!!!
Well, I am happy to share the awesome news that the Department of Health has shut down the ONE remaining abortion mill in the state of Mississippi in the good ole' USA. Many abortion mills have shut down in the past year but this one is momentous in that there are ZERO abortion mills existing in this state. There are even other states that have one remaining abortion chamber and we pray for those to fall, domino-style. Last Abortion Mill in Mississippi . Abortion mill owners complain about SAFETY measures like widening doorways for gurney access, unbroken stairs, working equipment. I don't know one liberal in my circle who is going to be happy about an abortion mill closure that shut down for heinous conditions. Not one. They will all lament "a bunch of old white men on Capitol Hill is telling me what to do with my body". Never mind that these mills actually kill women with cases of sepsis, perforated organs, and anesthesia overdoses. Here's the news flash though.....you can't make abortion SAFE. It's like saying, "Let's make sure the ovens at Auschwitz operate hotter and cleaner and have some pretty flowers planted out in front of it". 76 page deficiency report at abortion mill
Mark Crutcher, of Life Dynamics, pointed out that when he started out with pro-life ministry in 1992, there were over 2,100 abortion mills in the U.S. Now in 2013, there are over 600 and he added that most of those are in bad shape. Many different factors will contribute to their closures. Many people think that if Roe vs. Wade (and I would think Doe vs. Bolton would have to be as well), were overturned, then we would have 100% abortions illegal. It would just go back for the individual states to decide for themselves to keep the murder of the unborn legal or illegal. States such as New York and California which are pretty much without any limits on abortion, don't report their numbers, and could be considered the abortion capitols of the nation (east and west coasts respectively) would keep abortion going. States like Alabama and Georgia would move swiftly to make it illegal.
It is quite amazing though, that after 40 years since Roe vs. Wade being forced on the American people by fiat..we will see that it's possible to have a federal decree as toothless and impotent. It is a victory (but already we see Satan trying to undo this....I'll address this in future blog).
Awareness is what catches attention first. My exposure to the world of abortion was non-existent. I never thought about it, PERIOD. It never entered my little isolated bubble-world. Then the bubble popped one day. I learned what it was....this practice exists? How could anyone DO THAT? The natural plan that God had intended was all of sudden askew. Of course, my knowledge of post-abortive men and women was non-existent too. It took awhile but I am thankful today for the knowledge. Like William Wilberforce once said, (paraphrasing here), You can choose to look away, but now you can't say you never knew".
Once I got searching though, I was exposed to many kinds of pro-life ministries and levels of activism. Some are out there on the frontlines at abortion mills trying to desperately reach the women and girls going into abortion mills (willingly and unwillingly). They are truly the soldiers willing to lay down their lives, willing to sacrifice in various ways to make sure those who go in (or those who work there) are exposed to the truth.
Others take a different approach. Some are in the rooms of crisis pregnancy centers sharing this truth in this very private and personal setting....with free ultrasounds and material services readily shared. Some people feel they are not cut out for either setting but they want the truth out and they march, put bumper stickers on their cars, wear pro-life shirts, go to fundraisers and maybe they share with family, friends and neighbors. Maybe they just like sharing news on their social networks. If anything, the most important activism is PRAYER no matter what method of activism is advanced. Many different groups are out there with many different ideologies....going to college campuses, churches, fairs, walks and marches, public speaking engagements and reaching out to those who were in the abortion businesses themselves. You see the links at the bottom (and I just realized I need to update AGAIN). Satan loves to divide and I will have to say that I was very saddened by the in-fighting between groups over which method is the best.
It's like coming to Christ. So many found and accepted Christ in so many different ways. The BEST way if fire and brimstone preaching (says one), and then another one says, "No, make a friend and help them find Christ". With others, it's street evangelizing...with some it's helping a homeless ministry....gentle words, truthful words.....many of us could share widely divergent stories of how we came to Christ...quickly, slowly, some feeling fear of Hell or some with feelings of relief and with "liquid love". One could criticize each method. I could be criticized with just my blog entry here. I just say...pray for growth for that one is no longer ignorant. They may start out slow and mature at a very slow rate....but their roots are strong and deep. As long as they are going forward....I am thankful.
It took me awhile and I am still praying for advancement myself. I recognize I don't do nearly as much as I want to do and I am painfully aware of what obstacles I let stand in my way. I pray for God to keep working on me to keep maturing not just in the ministry of pro-life service but most importantly, my walk with Him.
I am thankful for all the fellow Christians and fellow pro-life warriors both in my immediate circle and the ones I know distantly thanks to social networks, blogs and quick acquaintances. It's true, I haven't been in Mississippi this week getting attacked with Mace like Cal Zastrow's group. It's true, I haven't been working in Mississippi for Personhood or in the halls of government getting this mill shut down. The only part I have in this is sharing on my blog and social networks. The only part I have is praying for its permanent shutdown. The only thing I can really enjoy is letting you know that it happened and reminding you that with God, all things are possible. We can celebrate what God has done and how He has used His servants to stop the killing in Mississippi. Now....what state is next? South Dakota? North Dakota? Montana?
Start praying and pray unceasingly! Will God use YOU to shut down a mill? Even if that is not something you might partake in someday, share the news of Mississippi with someone TODAY.
P.S. It's going to take a few weeks to actually shutdown this mill. It's not effective today but we can pray that no more babies will be killed in the upcoming weeks. PRAY for those mommies and babies to be protected even now!

Are You Ready for a DUEL?
So I am staring at this blank box wondering what to type. What story? What angle? I don't feel clever or blog savvy. I don't have a story of surviving or of whistleblowing on any abortion cartel (chain, independent or hospitals). All I have really is passion and conviction and even that is questionable as to levels and degrees. Why am I not out there right now doing anything?
This is the weekend we "pro-lifers" (more on those "quotes" later), observe the devastating landmark decision of Roe vs. Wade. We don't mention Doe vs Bolton which came out the same day (but we should). We are in 2013 and our nations has seen over the past 40 years, over 55 million babies slaughtered in the United States alone. We honestly do not know the true numbers as not all abortions are reported and we are only recognizing the surgical abortions.
Oh no.....55 million!!! One would think that a number like that would wake up some people. Yet, it doesn't. We have a nation of people who are spiritually dead. You want to poke them to see if they respond with any signs of life. You tap them on the head and yell..."Hellooooo, McFly!!!" We quip, "I never thought I would never see a life example of the Tin Man." No reaction. No brain, no heart. I have been there myself though. One of our family's favorite movies is the "Princess Bride". Warning: spoilers.
Spiritually DEAD! Well, I was "mostly dead" (as Princess Bride's character Miracle Max would explain). Yes, but that's not the same as "slightly alive". Are there any "slightly alives" out there? Do I hear you exhale "true looooove"? There's still hope. There's a part where the near-dead Wesley has been given the antidote but his body is still limp and he needs to be carried around by Inigo and Fezzik. At different points, we see his progression of strength. We could see ourselves in that progression of spiritual deadness as well. For me, it was a long journey (VERY LONG).
In one scene, Wesley is lying on the bed and we suspect that while he is wide awake, he is still in his weakened state. Until Prince Humperdink shows up who challenges him to duel. We recognize that Wesley could be bluffing. Certainly Prince Humperdink doesn't know Wesley's true state of strength. Wesley does get up and draw his sword. In a sense that is the pro-life group....they have been showing slow progression of strength. On a personal note, I would have to say I am still on that bed, wide awake but not really moving much. I AM moving....just not to FULL capacity. Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief.
The Humperdink character realizes that he faces a swarthy enemy. He is fearful and backs down. Although, the abortion cartel does not back down. Satan does not give up. He just tries different approaches but he never gives up. The abortion cartel IS fearful of the growing strength of the pro-life faction. They realize that it's only getting stronger and they have certainly lost ground. They have admitted this in a recent Times magazine article. They have the castle, they have the prince's storehouse of riches and resources. They just don't have the same following of the subjects as before. The subjects are wiser now and many have defected to the good side. The heart and belief system for killing innocents is not there anymore.
We don't have the riches, the stronghold of the castle but we are gaining strength. We have some of the kingdom but not all of it. Many of us are lying on that bed....some are truly still without strength and some are just about to move off that bed, ready to duel. "DROP YOUR SWORD!!!"
Recently the abortion cartel have bandied about changing their euphemism. For the longest time, they used the term "pro-choice" and they called people who were against abortion "anti-choice". I won't go into the long discussion of descriptions here. You can read it for yourself here though:

I do believe that the term pro-life isn't all that it should be either. In my discussion with people who claim to be pro-life, one finds that they aren't so very pro-life. If anything, they are pro-abortion with some exceptions. Here's the standard though. ZERO abortions. One is too many and never necessary. ZERO abortion globally is the goal. Hey, with God, ALL things are possible!!!! We live in a fallen world and as long as the sinners are alive and breathing, we know that people will continue to sin so abortion is not going anywhere for awhile. Realize that there WILL be one day with no abortions, no Planned Parenthood, no NARAL,and no need for sidewalk counselors or sidewalk prayer vigils. It's called Heaven. That is fact. Do I believe we can have zero abortions on earth? Yes, I do. Again, it's only with God could that happen. Is it likely? With humans in rebellion to God, no, it is not likely.
I realize I just tumbled into the Fire Swamp and ran into "Rhetorics of Unusual Size" (Pro-Choice terms).
So where are you? Are you Wesley lying on the bed...fully awake and aware but not in action? Are you slowly getting up ready to duel? Are you duelling? Or are you still back in the castle dungeon, in the pit of death? I pray you are not on Humperdink's side!!!!! That WILL be the losing side.....just read what happens to Satan in Revelation.
If you are ready to duel, I highly recommend going to Abolish Human Abortion's webpage. I wouldn't say they eschew the pro-life label but they are taking it to a phenomenal level of action. There are always detractors on their Facebook page in all forms. Satan loves to divide and he'll use anyone to make sure advances are not made. You'll see that if you "like" their Facebook page. Their page is not just about selling drop cards, bracelets, shirts and decals. Abolish Human Abortion is just that......ABOLISHING HUMAN ABORTION!!! They mean it. Talk to them. Read their blog. Find out what you can do to abolish human abortion. For you, it might be as small as sharing cards with others who are are still in the spiritually dead state. For you, it might be setting up your local Abolitionist Society.
My analogy of the Princess Bride may be a lighthearted attempt to have you recognize how you and I can be of more awareness of our action or inaction in standing up. I pray we become more effective. However, there is no lightheartedness in the business and evil actions of abortion.
The thought came across that I am maybe being too lighthearted in rallying the ones who have not taken action. Have you seen the photos of the babies? Have you read the accounts of filth at places like Gosnell's house of horrors? Gosnell's House of Horrors . There is a new documentary called "3801 Lancaster" Sometimes, people see those pictures and they have no effect to cause people to go into action. Whether you get up and fight due to movie analogies or the most gruesome story.....the reality is that somewhere the brain gets engaged, the heart is obtained, and the soul awakens. This is the weekend we "pro-lifers" (more on those "quotes" later), observe the devastating landmark decision of Roe vs. Wade. We don't mention Doe vs Bolton which came out the same day (but we should). We are in 2013 and our nations has seen over the past 40 years, over 55 million babies slaughtered in the United States alone. We honestly do not know the true numbers as not all abortions are reported and we are only recognizing the surgical abortions.
Oh no.....55 million!!! One would think that a number like that would wake up some people. Yet, it doesn't. We have a nation of people who are spiritually dead. You want to poke them to see if they respond with any signs of life. You tap them on the head and yell..."Hellooooo, McFly!!!" We quip, "I never thought I would never see a life example of the Tin Man." No reaction. No brain, no heart. I have been there myself though. One of our family's favorite movies is the "Princess Bride". Warning: spoilers.
Spiritually DEAD! Well, I was "mostly dead" (as Princess Bride's character Miracle Max would explain). Yes, but that's not the same as "slightly alive". Are there any "slightly alives" out there? Do I hear you exhale "true looooove"? There's still hope. There's a part where the near-dead Wesley has been given the antidote but his body is still limp and he needs to be carried around by Inigo and Fezzik. At different points, we see his progression of strength. We could see ourselves in that progression of spiritual deadness as well. For me, it was a long journey (VERY LONG).
In one scene, Wesley is lying on the bed and we suspect that while he is wide awake, he is still in his weakened state. Until Prince Humperdink shows up who challenges him to duel. We recognize that Wesley could be bluffing. Certainly Prince Humperdink doesn't know Wesley's true state of strength. Wesley does get up and draw his sword. In a sense that is the pro-life group....they have been showing slow progression of strength. On a personal note, I would have to say I am still on that bed, wide awake but not really moving much. I AM moving....just not to FULL capacity. Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief.
The Humperdink character realizes that he faces a swarthy enemy. He is fearful and backs down. Although, the abortion cartel does not back down. Satan does not give up. He just tries different approaches but he never gives up. The abortion cartel IS fearful of the growing strength of the pro-life faction. They realize that it's only getting stronger and they have certainly lost ground. They have admitted this in a recent Times magazine article. They have the castle, they have the prince's storehouse of riches and resources. They just don't have the same following of the subjects as before. The subjects are wiser now and many have defected to the good side. The heart and belief system for killing innocents is not there anymore.
We don't have the riches, the stronghold of the castle but we are gaining strength. We have some of the kingdom but not all of it. Many of us are lying on that bed....some are truly still without strength and some are just about to move off that bed, ready to duel. "DROP YOUR SWORD!!!"
Recently the abortion cartel have bandied about changing their euphemism. For the longest time, they used the term "pro-choice" and they called people who were against abortion "anti-choice". I won't go into the long discussion of descriptions here. You can read it for yourself here though:

I do believe that the term pro-life isn't all that it should be either. In my discussion with people who claim to be pro-life, one finds that they aren't so very pro-life. If anything, they are pro-abortion with some exceptions. Here's the standard though. ZERO abortions. One is too many and never necessary. ZERO abortion globally is the goal. Hey, with God, ALL things are possible!!!! We live in a fallen world and as long as the sinners are alive and breathing, we know that people will continue to sin so abortion is not going anywhere for awhile. Realize that there WILL be one day with no abortions, no Planned Parenthood, no NARAL,and no need for sidewalk counselors or sidewalk prayer vigils. It's called Heaven. That is fact. Do I believe we can have zero abortions on earth? Yes, I do. Again, it's only with God could that happen. Is it likely? With humans in rebellion to God, no, it is not likely.
I realize I just tumbled into the Fire Swamp and ran into "Rhetorics of Unusual Size" (Pro-Choice terms).
So where are you? Are you Wesley lying on the bed...fully awake and aware but not in action? Are you slowly getting up ready to duel? Are you duelling? Or are you still back in the castle dungeon, in the pit of death? I pray you are not on Humperdink's side!!!!! That WILL be the losing side.....just read what happens to Satan in Revelation.
If you are ready to duel, I highly recommend going to Abolish Human Abortion's webpage. I wouldn't say they eschew the pro-life label but they are taking it to a phenomenal level of action. There are always detractors on their Facebook page in all forms. Satan loves to divide and he'll use anyone to make sure advances are not made. You'll see that if you "like" their Facebook page. Their page is not just about selling drop cards, bracelets, shirts and decals. Abolish Human Abortion is just that......ABOLISHING HUMAN ABORTION!!! They mean it. Talk to them. Read their blog. Find out what you can do to abolish human abortion. For you, it might be as small as sharing cards with others who are are still in the spiritually dead state. For you, it might be setting up your local Abolitionist Society.
My analogy of the Princess Bride may be a lighthearted attempt to have you recognize how you and I can be of more awareness of our action or inaction in standing up. I pray we become more effective. However, there is no lightheartedness in the business and evil actions of abortion.
The thought came across that I am maybe being too lighthearted in rallying the ones who have not taken action. Have you seen the photos of the babies? Have you read the accounts of filth at places like Gosnell's house of horrors? Gosnell's House of Horrors . There is a new documentary called "3801 Lancaster" Sometimes, people see those pictures and they have no effect to cause people to go into action. I search and research this subject to know what is going on in my nation and the world as well. I come across the ugliest pictures, the nastiest articles and the most evil actions. Just when I think the human race can go no lower, I find an article that proves me wrong. The more I search and see these things, the more I want to do. Please pray, please read your Bible, please check out these websites that I included in the article and at the bottom of my blog. Check out the documentaries (some are free online). Maybe just take ONE action that you have never done before. Be a voice for the voiceless and be a defense for the defenseless. Watch on the wall, stand in the gap and shout.

"SAFE" and "LEGAL"
The pro-abortion folks like to spin a toxic yarn when they say they want abortion to be "legal, safe and rare". I remember when I first began reading about abortion that this phrase came up. Of course, nothing can be further from the TRUTH. Quite oppositely, this crowd wants abortion to be legal for all 9 months for any reason with absolutely zero safeguards at all. After Hurricane Sandy hit the east coast, a Virginia abortion mill boasted they were performing abortions that day. Plus, the Muskegon, Michigan abortion mill has been shut down. The fire marshall came to inspect after a reported break-in took place. He saw the conditions and immediately shut it down. Certain groups of people I know just won't be affected by this. There are days I just sit aghast at the coldness who can just look at all this and shrug it off. Spiritually dead about the things that matter and shrill about things that don't matter at all. No, I am not surprised. The world is dark. It is a fallen place even with people who claim to be Christians. Just let me sit in my comfy pew. Let me glaze over my eyes at the message or sad-to-say...in some churches....don't challenge me from the pulpit. I like my watered-down, expired milk.
I once was accused of "preaching to the choir". Again, I was aghast at this mostly because it came from someone who claimed to be a Christian and a pro-lifer. Here's the saddest thing....I turned around and expected to see a choir. There was no choir! Not even a weak one with one good singing voice. It was completely nonexistent.
So, for strong choirmembers....you won't mind me sharing the new website. Dedicated members are committed to the ministry and look forward to the proclamation of the Gospel through song. While they are already familiar with what will be preached from the pulpit, they don't get bored or downtrodden by it. They are not resentful to hear the Gospel from the pulpit again!!! Hmmm....now that's interesting. Maybe the ones who snap angrily "You are preaching to the choir. Enough already!" aren't hearing the Good News in the first place? No wonder they are grouchy, anxious and ill-tempered.
So here it is, you all with strong lungs and a hearty constitution with thick skins and a conviction for TRUTH!!! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!
Please, investigate it and spread it far and wide amongst those who need to know this and who will benefit from it. There are some breaking developments in the new year as far as abortion mills failing and shutting down. There were 24 abortion mills that shut down in 2012. This will be covered in another blog entry.

As for my absence, I do apologize. I realize that many events have taken place such as the atrocious events at Newtown, CT to name one. What took place shook so many of us to the core. Prayers and His word were the immediate responses and the appropriate antidotes to Satan's poison.. I set out to write but stopped many times. I knew MY passion and frustration would take over. Some have said to me "Oh that's what we love about you." However, this, coupled with the month of December (which always is like a runaway locomotive without fail), just kept me from expressing myself.. Those 20 babies and the teachers who responded to protect them are recognized here and now. Tears still come to my eyes at the thought of them. The memories of my own babies at that age are still very fresh. It doesn't matter that these children were 6 or 7 years old or whether they are 6 or 7 months old or even gestationally 6 or 7 weeks. They are all precious in His eyes. I just pray for the plans of our Lord who takes what Satan means for evil and turns it around for His purpose. We may never know or see any of that here on Earth. Maybe in Heaven, we'll see clearly why and how it all came together to glorify our Lord.
On a different note, and a happier note, I can say with joy that lives are still being saved at the local crisis preganncy centers. THERE is where life is celebrated and encouraged. I am also happy to say that when I talk there about pro-life subjects....no one angrily snaps "YOU ARE PREACHING TO THE CHOIR! ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!" Yeah, I am chuckling kind of......it's a relief that I have that sanctuary and a place where we are mobilized to do His work. Yet, sad too that a person who claims to be pro-life and Christian would respond with anger and bitterness at such a basic principle. Yeah, I keep praying....for ME not to succumb to discouragement or bitterness of my own at the fakery of it all.
One day a while back I was in a conversation with a pro-abortion person (online). While the conversation ended on a good note, I was saddened that this person decided to shut down to facts and truth. Again, I am never surprised by this. They aren't saved and so they are closed and blinded to truth. Yet, it weighs on a Christian when a person is not going to Heaven unless they make that 180 (by the way, have you seen 180 yet? Why not?). I had to make a phone call to a church for a project. It turned out to be such a great afternoon. I was totally ministered by this woman who was all excited about being involved with our crisis pregnancy center. I joked that if we ever got together, we would probably have a 2 hour lunch. Well, that's the goal someday when things quiet down (if they ever do). God si so good. He knew the timing and the message I needed to hear at that moment. I was greatly encouraged and it filled me to the brim.
The subject of abortion is so heartbreaking already. It's more than the brain and moral sensibilities can take. That anyone would actually kill a baby is horrifying enough but to continue to run into people over and over that defend it, vote for it, march for it and pay for it......it's an understatement that it's a depressing cause. However, God does give us other beautiful souls/saints/warriors to co-labor with and sometimes those ties are thicker than blood. I am thankful for all the blessings He gives me. Even those blessings of adversarial people although I may not always receive them as blessings sometimes!
On this note, I will end and wish all a very Blessed New Year......every year His return gets closer than before. Just think, Jesus will come back but also no more Planned Parenthood, no more abortion, no more death, lies, stealing, disunity, illnesses and all the nasty stuff we have been seeing or experiencing! Jesus has already won the VICTORY. Go, saints!! That is not a football reference but a call to go out and spread the Gospel!!! :D
